1Information we collect
When a return or exchange is created, we process the order number, customer name and email, the items and quantities being returned, the reason for the return, and any photos uploaded as evidence. For merchants, we store your Salla store details and the settings you configure.
2How we use information
We use this information solely to operate the returns and exchanges workflow: verifying orders, applying your return rules, issuing refunds, store credit or exchanges, generating shipping labels, and sending status notifications.
3Salla integration
We connect to your Salla store through secure OAuth. Access tokens are encrypted at rest and used only to read order data and to act on returns that you — or the rules you configure — approve.
4Data sharing
We do not sell your data. Information is shared only with the services required to complete a return: Salla, your configured shipping carriers, and our email provider used to send notifications.
5Data security
Access tokens are stored with AES-256 encryption. We keep a complete audit trail of every action, enforce multi-tenant isolation so your data stays yours, validate every uploaded file, and rate-limit verification codes to prevent abuse.
6Data retention
Return records are retained for as long as your store uses the app, or as needed to meet legal and accounting obligations. You can request deletion of your data at any time.
